The tiny house farm is an 18 acre property tucked within Prairie land, corn/soybean fields and a small livestock operation. There is a wet weather creek running through the 15 acres of timber, with nearly a mile of walking trails to enjoy the serenity of the expansive local wildlife, including several resident owls. This property is conveniently located within 15-20 minutes of several small towns with great restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and plenty of history! It is approximately 1 mile from Industry, Illinois which has a gas station, restaurant and bar with live music several weekends during the summer. This is a primitive property, so power and hot water for the outdoor shower are ran off of a generator, solar and/or propane. There are no running toilets at this property. The tiny house provides 2 twin xl beds(loft) with memory foam mattresses. There is also a small “day bed” that a child can sleep on, or it is great for an afternoon nap! A tent can be set up on the property to provide additional sleeping space. This property is great for a private getaway for a couple, with enough space throughout to accommodate a large group. There is a private primitive camping spot located in the timber, overlooking the neighboring cow pasture. This is available for $10 with tiny house rental. (Normally $25) ***Please note*** THERE IS NO RESTROOM ON THIS PROPERTY OTHER THAN THE GREAT OUTDOORS.

This was wonderful! My partner and I had been driving from New Mexico for the past two days. This was our second stop before our final destination and staying at the Tiny House Ranch was a life saver. The outside shower was perfect, the space was spotless and very organized, easy to navigate. We both felt secure in the property and loved the opportunity to explore the trails in the morning before we left. We both wished we could stay longer and enjoy the outside more. It is so clear that every detail was thought through and accounted for. My personal favorite was the outdoor shower, and the sunset! Additionally, Kenny made sure to let us know what he was available should anything happen or if we needed any help. Would highly recommend!

Kenny's Tiny House Farm was everything we were hoping for. It was a nice little getaway from the big city for me and my partner. Her dog loved it too. The craftsmanship of the tiny house was impressive and the beds were quite comfortable. We were very surprised to find out that is was air conditioned! Refilling the generator took a little bit of getting used to, part of that was our fault for picking the hottest weekend of the year so far. We'll probably be back in the fall to enjoy the nicer weather and not have to rely so much on the A/C. The property was well kept and the night sky was beautiful. We went for a short hike through the woods on the property and I could definitely see myself spending more time out on the trails. The outdoor shower was everything I dreamed of and even though there were a couple of houses scattered across the rolling hills, it felt very secluded and there was very little, to no, traffic, which was a great change of pace. All in all, we had a very positive trip and are definitely considering coming back!

We had a ton of fun at this tiny house! Snuggled between bean fields and a cow pasture, its a nice place for a small family get away. The property is clean and well kept. You can hike, there is a lake nearby, and my son loved the small playground. The outside shower and movie were great. And, Kenny was The Best host. A really really nice guy. Would recommend.

We chose this site initially for it's dark skies, but were so impressed by the entire experience! Every detail of the site is so thoughtful and appreciated. The property is stunning and includes a picturesque landscape, walking trails to explore, and the perfect stargazing night sky. The tiny house is adorable and the air conditioner makes for added comfort on the humid summer afternoon. The owner has installed a great hammock, fire pit, and outdoor shower! As a parent, I loved seeing storybooks, extra bug spray, and batteries offered as backup. :)

We loved staying at Tiny House! It was great being able to walk the property with our new puppy. He enjoyed the hiking tails and playing in the grass. Our host could not have been more accommodating! If we’re ever in that neck of the woods again, we’ll be back.

My two sons and I had an amazing weekend here. The tiny house was being worked on for the winter but Kenny offered to upgrade us to their new RPod trailer. It was just what we needed since the weather was on the chilly and gusty side. Lots of space for kids/dogs to run and play, overall a breath of fresh air. Kenny and his family were so welcoming and generous hosts. Looking forward to coming back!
