Our little family of four had an amazing stay ay Serenity Fields Farm. The host was welcoming and kind and gave us options for our camping set up. The creek site near the fire ring was perfect for us and I have to say that visiting with the animals was our favorite part. Just a few minutes from grocery shopping, state parks, and conservation areas, this place is a gem. Their gardens are gorgeous and we look forward to the possibility of camping again!

We loved our stay and our four-year-old would stay on Julie’s farm forever if she could! The campsite was at the back of the property and very private. The fire pit was great for making meals and we were very grateful for the use of the house bathroom for our kiddo. Julie has a beautiful property and we spent a whole two days exploring it! Feeding the animals and splashing through the creek were the highlights of our time there. We hope to come back here again soon!

Host had a family emergency and was unable to be at the property. She offered a full refund or for us to still come. We chose to camp and are soo pleased with that decision. We fell in love with the puppy, kittens and pig. The horses are beautiful and the turkey let us pet her while the kitten sat on top of her. The tree house over the creek really made the site perfect!

Can't wait to go again with our kids!

Highly recommend Serenity Fields Farm. Julie and her daughters were amazing hosts. Our kids loved playing with the animals and riding horses. the camp site was secluded and quiet. We had rain half the time there and didn't miss a beat.

I let my kids pick this place, and it did not disappoint, it was a highlight of their summer. They loved all the animals and could not get enough. Host was fantastic and made sure they had a great time, very good at helping them ride horses and safe enjoyment. This is a great spot and experience, they definitely want to return again!

We had such a lovely time at Serenity Fields Farm! We travelled down from Chicago (quick 2.5 hour drive!) with one other family and pitched our tents down by the creek. The camping space was private and serene and we had a great campfire and cooking area set away from the tents. What made the stay so special though was the vast array of animals and activities for the kids. They were in heaven running through the property, petting alpaca and bunnies, doing ropes courses and jumping on the trampoline. Julie’s husband took the kids out on a horse cart ride and the kids enjoyed individual saddle rides on one of the horses (we were happy to pay extra for these experiences!) We also really loved talking to Julie and her husband and learning all about their lives and the farm. Overall this was a top weekend for 2020 and we can’t wait to go back!

Julie and her husband Brian are such great people! The animals were very friendly. Brian showed us a magical night with his horses and tractor ride. This is camping on a farm and we would definitely return. Thank you Julie for being so helpful beforehand as well.
