I enjoyed tent camping under the willows at Mandy's Farm. There was plenty of room to camp. St Louis is only a short drive away which is another Plus.

A good time
We tent camped there and loved it. There are many farm animals to wonder around and look at. And beautiful willow trees. Very importantly, it is a *short* distance (like 15 minute drive) from there to Cahokia Mounds and to downtown St. Louis (and the arch). Unfortunately there was road noise but it was pretty far away. And the coyote howls were *awesome* late at night.

Mandy’s Farm is so cute! Very close to St Louis, yet feels very far from city life. Easy check in and Mandy is very responsive and helpful. While you are in Granite City, don’t skip picking up some BBQ at JJ’s Bar-B-Q & More - great Brisket and Ribs - just a few minutes drive from Mandy’s!

Easy access
Mandy and her team were very welcoming. We were the only campers on our stop over so it was very private and the farm critters were so fun to watch as we must have been equally entertaining for them. One note is we had no cell service which we were expecting based on the property description. It wasn’t until we left that our messages came through with parking instructions. So be sure to communicate probably an hour in advance to get any special instructions and avoid setting up where the host specifically tells you not to set up (sorry Mandy). All in all I would stay again and recommend. Some people have mentioned freeway noise but we didn’t hear anything but birds and horses.
