Description

Littered with a gunshell-heavy history that’s strung together by knotted fishing line, Gebhard State Park Campground was purchased for a mere fifteen hundred dollars nearly a century ago, from the Grundy County Rod and Gun Club. Originally bought for aquafarming―in this case, for the purpose of rearing game fish―the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) later added additional spawning pools and built the fundamentals to a great campground: fire rings, log cabins, and well-manicured trails. You favorite pair of boots and fishing rod will be well-used, believe us.
