If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
I had such a lovely stay here. I enjoyed spending the night in the loft, it was so cozy. Your barn is absolutely beautiful and those eggs were delicious. I definitely wish I had more time here!
this is such a diamond in the ruff! the host, Aissa, was very friendly, and the barn was beautiful. you can easily camp outside, or in our case, throw your crash pads in the barn and sleep on the floor. we'll definitely be back for a longer stay!
A country paradise only minutes from the interstate! About 6 hours out, I found this place on Hipcamp. We set course for this location and arrived at 8:30PM; just enough daylight to get a good look at the property.
My son (3 yrs old) and I were quickly greeted upon arrival as if we were visiting with old friends. We had planned to camp behind the barn under the trees but the hosts talked us into staying in the barn.
Even in a warm evening the barn stayed cool with a large fan blowing on us. After I put my son to bed, I spent some time taking some evening photos of the property.
This has to be the most unique place I've ever slept. We had spent the previous 2 weeks traveling from VA to AZ and back. Even though we had some pretty epic campsites during our travels, this place will certainly be the most memorable.
Watch video coverage of our stay here in July 2018 at http://www.mountainstateoverland.com - cheers and thanks for having us!

My friends and I stayed here for a last minute friend reunion. Aissa and her spouse were so welcoming! They were flexible about our check in/check out and let us use their kitchen to make fresh eggs in the morning. This was a unique and wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. Thanks Aissa :)
What an idyllic little gem! We were 4 friends wanting a getaway. We really loved our time there. We played at the creek nearby, cooked over the fire, and played cards in the airy loft. There seemed to be lots of options for hiking and boating nearby, but it was just as tempting to stay close by and enjoy the beautiful space.
