The experience of this stay was fun and unique! Janece showed us around the property and let us feed the alpacas which was the highlight of the stay! I would have liked to know that the camp site is in the front yard next to a busy road. I don’t know if the constant traffic was because of the holiday weekend but there were cars zooming by the whole night and the headlights were distracting.
Definitely recommend windbreak farm
Janece and her husband were great hosts and great people. Very friendly and very kind. The camping spot had plenty of room and was clean in a grassy area. They trusted me to hangout with the alpacas and the other animals on their farm. Very natural and relaxing place.
Fabulous little farm & hosts
Janece and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. The farm is the cutest place with lots of animals besides the enchanting alpacas. My 7 year old daughter was in heaven the entire time. Hope to be back next year!
Janece is a great host! I felt so welcome at her home. The site is clean and on a nice patch of grass with a picnic table and porta-potty. It is right on a road that can be a little busy, but I suspect people coming here are more interested in seeing their beautiful alpacas than getting a remote camping experience. You can tell the animals are loved and well cared for. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Janece for hosting me!
An awesome place to stay with s
The host, Janece, is the sweetest human, the area is gorgeous, and there are fuzzy and feathered friends everywhere! I got some great cuddles with doggos and got to feed goats and alpacas. I had the best time camping here and meeting Janece and her husband. They made sure I had everything I needed and was comfy. These are some genuinely good folks. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
It was a really nice setting. We thought that there would be multiple campsites, but it was just us! It was a nice grassy space in front of the pasture & henhouse. One thing to know going in is that it is close to the road and not behind a fence (in case you have littles). The guardian dogs were very friendly, and the chickens quietly roam about. Janece & her husband were awesome and spent a lot of time with us for our alpaca experience. We got to feed and pet the alpacas, and it was amazing. 🙂. We really enjoyed our time there!
