This is my kind of camping. We were alone in the site which was nice for us. We camp with our dog and she had room to play on the lawn. We had a fire the first night and there was plenty of firewood that caught fire without effort. It was very quiet and we really enjoyed it. We just sat around, played with our dog, rested and were not bothered by anything or anyone. We walked across the street to see the river access but did not fish or float, not our thing. We did go to the dam which is just up the road a short ways. In my opinion not as buggy as Walcott Park. We will stay here again. Thanks so much for sharing your property.
This was a nice place to stay if you want the river and lake walcott but not all the people. No worries about other peoole pulling up beside you. The hosts were there to greet us and help us get situationed. Very friendly.
You camp facing the road but there is minimal traffic (compared to state park camping) and some nice people waving taking a double take as they pass :)
Across the road is the very nice, and private (only people on the river can see you) river access and small stoarge shed to keep your chairs and fishing poles so you dont have to carry those back and forth. Great shade, both at the river and at the site, full utilities, firewood provided, nice fire pit and grass area to lounge in at camp. We saw a deer in the river one morning and had a killdeer lay her beautiful eggs under the RV while we were gone at the lake. The nature was fun.

Thank you for the nice review Ame. Glad you enjoyed your stay, come back anytime.
We really enjoyed our stay, it was a quiet area that had plenty of space to relax. Everything was really clean and organized. Getting setup was a breeze and it was super nice to have pre cut firewood on hand. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and easy getaway!

Jordan, thanks for staying with us. Sorry we were unable to meet you, but I am glad you had a great time. Come back again soon.
This was a great place to stay. Quite very nice hosts. The river was great to kayak down. Don't forget your bug spray. The nesting killdeer were wonderful

Thank you Jason. I'm glad your family had a great time. We are excited to see how the rocking duck turns out for Aaron's grandson.
We had an amazing time. Its a beautiful place to stay. We will be back next year!

Thank you for staying with us Sheryl and also for posting the wonderful pictures. We would love to have you back anytime.
Really nice alternative to the typical campground where people are on top of one another. Camo site provides an extraordinary view of the adjacent river and nature.

Thank you for staying Dean, glad you enjoyed the experience. Come back again!
Beautiful spot along the snake River even though it was just off of the road. Very short walk across to the river and up short drive up the road to beautiful Lake Walcott! Our first time using Hipcamp and we were very happy!

Thank you for the delightful pictures Suzette! Come back again soon!
RV sure was exactly as advertised. Beautiful view of the Snake River just across the street with private access. We were able to let our dog go off leash and play ball in the large yard. Host are very kind and kept us well informed. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Afton and her husband were very hospitable and welcoming. Directions were spot on. The site was nice and had 50 amp and 30 amp service. The Snake River was just across the road and Aaron was helpful in identifying hot spots for fishing. Our dog was able to run around off leash, but we kept an eye on her since the road was within 40 feet of the campsite. Very quiet except for an occasional vehicle. We loved the spot and will be returning in the future.
