Our 10-acre farm is mostly high desert, native land/terrain which is slowly being transformed into a small, sustainable Idaho farm. Our primary focus is currently raising small livestock and growing food in a garden to sell at our local Farmers Market. We share a property line with an active PRIVATE gun range and while this may seem like a deterrent, there's no safety concern for us and the noise is mostly sporadic and the range is closed sunset to sunrise.

This is a new Hipcanp site. It is basically in the front yard of the owners' house at the end of a dead end road. Beautiful area overlooking other rural homes/farms. Travis is a superb host. He has provided a private tented toilet and water spigot on site. Canping area is level and on a lush lawn. Privacy is respected. It was a lovely stay for one night. Beats a crowded campsite. I'd camp there again. Had my dog with me and he loved the grass, watching Travis's chickens graze, and walks along the road.
I highly recommend this site!!! Travis was incredibly kind, thoughtful, accommodating and communicative.
The property is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The gun range wasn't an issue for me because they didn't get started until mid-morning, and even then it wasn't too loud.
There's a charming cohort of animals on the farm, but if you're camping with a dog I suggest you keep him/her leashed so he doesn't wander too close to the goats.

It was great staying with Travis! We just came through for a night on our way to Portland, it was the perfect stop through. The weather was bad on our way in to town and Travis was really considerate and welcoming, checking in with us about conditions.

I was ready to give Travis a perfect review and then he sent me photos of what the site should have looked like! Apparently we were the first campers of the season and he hadn't had time to fully prep the site. No matter, we still LOVED our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone else. Read the amenities list carefully, you will find that you'll have to pack much less than you thought! You will also have access to some gorgeous land and enjoy dramatic sunsets that cannot be described. In the morning we met the animals and walked around with Travis's dog, so wonderful. I've already decided that should we head back this way on our way back to Texas we will definitely stay with Travis again.
Travis was a great host! Our stay even came with a dozen farm fresh eggs! Super easy to find and the views are wonderful. The info about the gun range was correct, it’s very nearby and there some folks up early doing target practice.

Travis went above and beyond to set up a sweet campsite . We also loved the gift of fresh eggs!
We loved our stay at Travis’ property. Travis really put a lot of care into providing the site with amenities - a toilet, hand washing station, tables, and even a fire pit. Travis and his family were so welcoming to us. We also enjoyed being around all the farm animals! It was a great experience.
