Gorgeous camp environment cool cabin and Girls on the Fly camper for guests. Best of all hot showers! Shannon and Doug are the most gracious, creative, and generous hosts. They used to run a catering business - Breakfast is simply delicious and home made jams and fresh eggs. They also sell homemade spices, soaps, lotions, and lavender pouches - perfect for them camp sent that tends to linger.
We would return in a heartbeat.

This was our first time using HipCamp. It exceeded our expectations. The Meadow along the bubbling creek behind Shannon and Doug's
house had a cute and cozy cabin and rocking chairs on the porch. It seemed like a world away, although it was only a short walk from hot showers and bathroom.
Shannon's hospitality and generosity of spirit are rare gems. Give "Quiet in the Quakies" a try!

This property is a little slice of heaven! The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by trees and water! You can hear the wather running and gurgling and it is a fabulous lullaby! Our hosts were absolutely delightful and this was a most fabulous way for my daughter and I to spend two nights of our road trip. Shannon taught my daughter how to make soap and we are still on our road trip yet she is already writing down herb combinations for the soap she will make at home. Salmon is a fabulous little city and if you go - visit Odd Fellows coffee shop and by all means by a loaf of bread and some Sheep's cheese - it will not disappoint!. I highly recommend this place it is sweet!

WOW Doug and Shannon have a beautiful place there at Quiet in the Quakies - The Meadow! We were absolutely thrilled to be there in such a beautiful place! We were lucky that we were the only campers there and therefore had the communical fire pit and kitchen area all to ourselves - but it wuld be also amazing to share the space with new friends! I highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Our family of five and our pup Watson had a great time staying at The Meadow! The cabin was so perfectly quaint and charming, the babbling creek provided a great background to our peaceful weekend. Both Shannon and Doug were the perfect hosts, giving us our space but attentive enough to make sure we never went without. We would highly recommend this great place for anyone looking for a chance to unplug for a couple of days and just get away from it all. Even a few deer sightings each morning while sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs!

This site was amazing! Owners gave clear instructions and were easy to reach. It is right on the river and has so much open space. The owners were nice enough to start a fire for us before we got there and because it was a week day we had the entire campsite to ourselves. The bathroom is so nice and clean. The view of the stars is incredible. I only wish we had time to stay for more than one night! Very scenic spot with privacy and amazing amenities.

We were lucky enough to have the Meadow to ourselves and wow, what a great experience. One of the best campsites I've ever had! Doug and Shannon were so gracious and helpful. We relaxed by the creek, cooked over the fires and explored the area. I can't wait to come back!

We had a lovely time at Doug and Shannon's. Its a beautiful campsite and it made our 2 nights there perfect. It has been our favourite stay during our road trip so far and Doug and Shannon were so friendly and welcoming. We are sad to say goodbye to the place and to the hosts. Thankyou so much for having us!
