Description

Upper O’Brien Campground sits near the banks of the Salmon River in a forest of lodgepole pine. Anglers can spend the day fishing for steelhead and trout. Head to the nearby Sunbeam Hot Springs for a soak – the water maintains a temperature of 169 degrees Farenheit. You can also check out the Land of the Yankee Fork to explore the region’s mining history. Yankee Fork also has a boat ramp, so bring your kayak, and paddle through the cascading rapids.
