This is a two story rustic Tiny Cabin. It is very private and surrounded by the forest. Off the beaten path, but only 1 mile from the beautiful Jewel lake. A great place to swim, fish, Kayak or paddle board. Lots of places to hike around this 20-acre property or up on the mountain behind the land. Lots of options in the general area. Tons of wildlife. Last summer, we had a resident Mother Moose and her twin calves!
There is an outdoor instant hotter shower, fire pit, cooler, table gas grill, propane table top grill also. Composting toilet outside, wood stove inside. Dishes, pans, paper towels, salt, pepper, olive oil etc.

The vibe at Phoenix Rising Rustic Cabin
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Nestled in the beautiful northern Idaho forests sits a small & cozy rustic cabin. I came with my family (us + two kiddos) and found it to be cozy and very rustic. My daughter had no problem using the compost toilet as it was much better than an outhouse and the wood stove kept us all nice and cozy during our stay. Lori, the owner does have wifi available, but it is a perfect place to recharge and actually "get-away". She is a wonderful host and was very accommodating too. She is continuously working on reviving different parts of the cabin and I can't wait to see the progress next time we go back! We had a wonderful time!
We had such a great time staying in the cabin! We were the second people ever to stay in the cabin, so they are still improving it, but we thought it was perfect! Great size for two people, bed was really comfortable, the deck was a perfect spot to sit and relax, and the table downstairs was great to eat at and play card games. They have a outdoor shower and outdoor compost toilet behind the cabin, and an outdoor bbq area with a fire pit. It was the perfect spot to relax and unplug and be out in nature. The cabin is also only 30 mins from Sandpoint which is a huge bonus! We will stay here again soon!
Lori's property is absolutely wonderful and easy to get to. I stayed in the cabin that she is in the process of fully building out (no running water, but it still feels luxurious with faux fur blankets, candles, a teapot/camping stove, and a composting toilet out back). I told her I'd be getting in around 1am, so she set up a fire to make sure it was all warmed up for me! I slept beautifully and woke up to the smell of cedar. Lori and her dog, Luna, are lovely and gave me a full tour of the bigger cabin they're renovating, and encouraged me to explore around the property. Can't wait to see what else she builds :)
I would 100% recommend the Phoenix Rising cabin if you're coming to explore Idaho/eastern Washington!
