This is a beautiful peaceful place where I like to go to spend time away from the noise of the world and recharge and enjoy all the things of nature, float and fish the river and lakes walk through the trees and wild flowers. It is close to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. This land has been in my family for nearly 50 years and my parents wanted to keep it in a primitive state but we will be adding a few updates in the coming years Learn more about this land: (#1)From Ashton Idaho follow Highway 20 about 30 miles to Yale-Kilgore Rd,(#2)From W.Yellowstone it is about 26 miles to Elk Creek #1 take a left turn and #2 a right turn follow this road until you cross McRae bridge then continue to a right turn onto Yale Creek Road then left at the split in the road onto Hotel Creek then right on S. Beaver Springs Rd. then a right on Glen tree Road continue along Glen tree and take a left on Wooded Ln, up this lane approximately 2 to 3 blocks the property is on the right marked with orange fence posts, it is a primitive camp site horse shoe around a fire pit. Please don’t burn garbage or cut down any trees. The road is very bumpy please take it slow. 4166 Wooded Ln.(#1)From Ashton Idaho follow Highway 20 about 30 miles to Yale-Kilgore Rd,(#2)From W.Yellowstone it is about 26 miles to Elk Creek #1 take a left turn and #2 a right turn follow this road until you cross McRae bridge then continue to a right turn onto Yale Creek Road then left at the split in the road onto Hotel Creek then right on S. Peaceful Pines
Father's Day weekend
Very pretty and somewhat remote. We saw a mother and baby moose as well as many trees and shrubs. Probably best to have an all wheel drive vehicle as it rained and became quite muddy but easy for a Subaru Outback and Honda CRV. Danny was very friendly and the directions were very easy to follow. Internet is remote and slow to load so make sure you have directions written down before hand. I would stay here again😀

Peaceful Pines
Very tidy and efficient site.
I camped out with one of my best friends, her 12 year old son, and my dog, after a trip to Yellowstone. The proximity to the park is great and we had a wonderful time. I was under the impression that the campsite was isolated, which is not the case. There were houses on the road as well as other campers in RVs. The fire pit was amazing. We packed our own wood in. If you don’t have your own wood, there is plenty at this site, for a fee. Recommend for someone looking to do something a little non-traditional.

Peaceful Pines
This site was awesome! It was nice and peaceful and there was a moose when we arrived. Pull through slots were great and fit our RVs perfectly! Will be coming back again!

Quit and Great Access to Yellowston
Very secluded and well maintained site. Hard to access and the roads are tricky to navigate with an RV.

Quiet Dry Camp
The site was exquisitely beautiful and quiet; however, the sites were not clearly delineated which caused for confusion with other campers that arrived. The host was clear that this was a dry camp and we were able to get our 26-foot 5th wheel into the site. But fair warning: the roads in are not graded and have some ruts. He let us know to take it low and slow. Some road signs were not worded as on the Hip Camp directions. We got a little lost and had to do some back-up magic and finally used Waze to get us to our destination. Note that the final road is Wooded Lane.
Location
Island Park, Fremont, Idaho, United StatesTraditional, ancestral territory of Newe Sogobia (Eastern Shoshone), Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla, and Shoshone-Bannock First Nations according to To respect the Host's privacy, the precise address of this land will be provided after booking
