Absolutely perfect in every way!
I have been traveling for two months and this site far exceeded my expectations. I originally intended to stay for 2 nights. Instead, I have enjoyed 9 days of sun, fishing within steps of my campsite, biking the Hiawatha trail, exploring nearby ghost towns, picking huckleberries, and amazing hosts! Lisa provides everything you may need to truly discover and enjoy the area. Her property is perfectly maintained with grass, flowers, large campfire area, horseshoes, and a flushing toilet bathroom. Wifi and water available. I would recommend staying with Lisa to anyone that would like a hassle free, gorgeous vacation experience!
Lisa was a fantastic host...very responsive and extremely helpful. The sites are steps from the road...very interesting mining industry. A good stop on the way to wherever you are going!
Superb rv site, clean, welcoming
Getting here took driving 5 miles further than Google maps put me. No cell reception means getting directions straight before going dark. Lovely host and super clean and flat RV site with 20 amp power made an RV overnight a dream. Sounds of the river across the road was delightful. Easy access from the road, even for a 34ft motorhome. I'd definitely recommend.
We made a last minute booking for only one night and our host was completely accommodating. We had the camping space all to ourselves so we camped next to a cute little flush bathroom and a nice grassy area. If you like unique, off the beaten path historical sites, this spot is perfect for you!! It was exactly what we were hoping for; the mining history was so fascinating and we could hear the creek from our camp, the very creek that runs through the historical hotel down the road(walking distance!). This place is quite literally nestled between two mountains. It’s fairly close to road but it is off the beaten path so very few cars go by. So unique, would recommend!
