This was such an amazing trip! Sherry and Larry are the kindest people who are so passionate about the food they grow for themselves and their community. Their property is so peaceful and we really enjoyed becoming friends with all the sweet animals that live on the property! The tipi is clean, comfortable and so much fun to stay in. I highly recommend staying here... you will not be disappointed! I am already dreaming of making another trip. Thank you so much Larry and Sherry.
Spending a night in the Teepee was a unique and special experience. It is well furnished, very comfortable and clean. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and brisk air was refreshing. I recommend that you check it out.
My wife and I had always wanted to sleep in a tipi, and somehow we managed to find this place to stay the night before the big eclipse, which we watched a short drive to the north up past Sun Valley in the Sawtooth Mountains. The tipi was very comfortably furnished with a nice bed and soft covers. There was a writing desk, a dresser, and a soft chair next to a wood burning stove, which we didn't use. The tipi was surrounded by a garden full of flowers, with beautiful horses across the fence in the neighboring corral. There was a firepit nearby where we built a fire in the evening to cook our dinner and to sit around with a couple friends we brought along for the trip. It would be a stretch to call this camping it was so nice. Highly recommended for anyone who loves country charm. Beautiful surroundings, friendly hosts. A++
Sherry's accommodations were amazing. We had a great time along with our two dogs, relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere of her deluxe tipi. The fire kept us nice and warm and the bed was a great change from the camping that we had been doing on our trip. We look forward to returning again while we are on our next road trip!
We went to the tipi during our honeymoon and the stay was amazing. Sherry is a great host and we enjoyed the Kraay farm. The horses were super friendly and we loved the goats and chickens. When we stayed in the tipi, it was raining. We were completely dry in the tipi and we're made aware of the tarp to provide extra shelter if needed. Thank you Sherry for sharing your lovely tipi with us. Definitely an experience we will never forget.
Best decision we ever made! Not only was the tipi beautiful and cozy but Sherry was the kindest host we could have asked for! We got a full tour of the farm, a warm place to sleep and a delicious home made breakfast. You won’t regret your stay here, it made Idaho a must go!
As soon as I set foot on this property, I knew I loved it. Pulling off of the highway into a lush, green area, with incredible mountain views. The owner was so warm and welcoming. She even started a fire for us inside the tipi to keep us toasty and encouraged us to eat veggies from their garden. Our short stay here will be hard to top. I'd jump at the chance to visit again!
This place is a dream. The greenhouses have insanely delicious veggies and the pond is prefect at sunset! The tipi is setup like a comfortable bnb with on site tasty well water, a small snack, candles, etc. The tipi construction is amazing. A big thunderstorm came through while we were there and barely a drop came through. The host is super friendly and very generous. Definitely coming back.
