Judy’s land was a great home for the night! Located in a beautiful valley with mountains on all sides, it was the optimal location for watching the sunset, stargazing, and waking up with the sun. We also got to see some sand hill cranes. Upon arriving you have the option of choosing your spot on the large field. The ground was super soft and comfy for camping. Judy was an excellent host, checked in on us when we arrived, and even offered us coffee in the morning. Would absolutely stay again!

This is a lovely field--private, quiet, with views up towards the mountains. Nice cows next door. Directions are good, but note that if the ground is really wet, you may not want to drive a small sedan out there too far. We had a 4 x drive pulling a small trailer and didn't have a problem. There is a great nature preserve down Highway 20 that wasn't on bigger maps--saw a moose and eagles and herons there. This is a gem in hunting season when lots of campers are filling the regular campgrounds.
