Maiden hipcamp voyage
YOU WANT TO STAY HERE! This was our first HIPCAMP experience, and we are hooked. We want to come back when we have more time for exploring. What a treat to find a camp site where our dogs could romp the meadow freely chasing dragon flies. And to enjoy a gourmet steak sandwich and nice bottle of wine with that view? Amazing. Host Peter came to check on us shortly after arrival, and then left us to enjoy ourselves. We said good morning to the deer, sand hill cranes, and a distant vocal coyote pack.
Wow. I feel *incredibly lucky* to have found this site. This was my first HipCamp experience and I wasn’t sure what to expect and Peter’s sight exceeded any and all expectations I had. If you like rolling hills, wildflowers, and gentle forest-this is the spot for you. Plenty of firewood, clean portable toilet, and beautiful views. I was far away enough from the road to not be bothered by cars and close enough to easily get back to Teton Village where I was headed.
Perfectly quiet and serene
Peter's property and description are spot on. We were so happy that we decided to stay a 4th night. The views, the location, the amenities, and the quiet solitude were more than we'd hoped for. Thank you, Peter! All the best to you.
This was such a freaking awesome stay!!! The platform for the tents, built-in benches, fire pit, and wood and water supplies by the host...made camping with 4 kids so easy and convenient. Great open space (huge) with a few fun (and safe) places for the kids to explore around the site. Thanks for such a fun stay!
