An amphithere, art museums, amassings of pristine hardwoods—and assonance. Farragut Campground is forked between both Idlewild and Scenic Bay, offering somewhat close proximity to the area’s plethora of hydrophilic activities. Better yet, Farragut Campground also boasts both equestrian-friendly hiking and camping sites—so you can even bring along your horse pal, too!

This is a BIG park with several campgrounds. I've stayed at both Whitetail and Snowberry and both are nice. Well run, clean and with lots of amenities from boat launching to mountain bike trails to equestrian areas. And not far from services in nearby towns, but far enough away for peace and quiet.
