Learn more about this land: Enjoy your stay, Down by the River, on the banks of the Coeur d'Alene! Launch your SUP, Kayak or floats to play in the river and fish. With wide open space there is plenty of room to relax and watch the clouds go by. This primitive camp site at the edge of the river is quite flat, but might require some leveling under your tires. The drive/road is shared so all vehicles (2 max) must be pulled off the road and into the designated area. The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes bike trail is just on the other side of the river and trail access (and pit toilets) is less than 2 minutes away. Nice spot. Shared driveway with equestrian center. There was an equestrian event going on when we were there so very busy with lots of camp and horse trailers as well as a lot of vehicles and people. Loud speaker and early morning noise. I was anticipating a little more privacy and a little quieter. Also lots of untrimmed branches that we had to get out and hold out of the way to prevent scratching our trailer. This was the shared driveway to get to the camp spot. Camp spot was very open once u got through driveway.

Perfect Spot!
We have stayed here 3x and love it! Katie is an awesome host! ! She is so fast to reply and so kind!! Her place is perfect for a peaceful, private, beautiful getaway yet only half an hour or hour away from where we live! It’s open, spacious, quiet and the river is so refreshing, clean, clear, and super fun! Great little access point and you can just play all day! Beach across from camp you can walk across river to (more mid to late summer), walk up to float down, put in at bumblebee bridge which you’re right by, enjoy watching all the floaters go by too! Also by bike trail and Snake Pit is just down the road if you want to hop on down there for a meal and live music! Our fave place to I camp!

River float area
Nice little area. Bring river floats, kayaks or paddle boards and the river is a 3 hour float to Albert’s Landing where you can get a ride back near the camp for $5 per person. There’s a little shop at Albert’s for beverages and such. Really convenient spot for a lazy River day.

It was absolutely beautiful and private! Amazing location for camping, floating, fishing, relaxing and soaking up the beautiful scenery! Huge spot with no one around except a few folks who came to use arena with their horses but was fun too for our daughters! ! And so fun to watch all the floaters too! The water access is smaller and a little slopey with a couple larger rocks which were a little hard for little ones or elderly to use but we figured it out and floated, swam and had a blast! We definitely will be camping here again! Thanks Katie!
