This was a perfect location for a mini getaway from the city! Outstanding hosts, clear and thorough instructions (for check-in, the stay, and using the fireplace), and an extremely peaceful place. Whether you’re a solo-traveler or visiting with a small- to medium-sized group, you’ll love the Pinion Yurt!
Very convenient location. Off grid with no power or water, but was very clean, quiet and well kept. Minimal lighting, so good to have backup lighting. BBQ was as described and worked well. We were there during a severe thunderstorm, so were very glad to have shelter. Overall a very positive experience.
10/10 would recommend.
Beautiful setting with pristine accommodations. If you're willing to go a bit off the beaten path for a cool experience with some really kind, attentive hosts, then this is the place for you! Everything was as expected and then some-- especially loved the sweet touch of laminated notes in the yurt as well as the outhouse with directions/tips/and even fun anecdotes. We got in somewhat late after a 12 hour road trip, but getting in and getting comfy was a breeze. As we were unpacking, Ross came to greet us and tell us about the local wildlife, as well as answer any and all questions we had. In the morning, we were well rested and ready to set out for another long day. So glad we found this place.
