The vibe at Cedar Hollow
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Cedar Hollow is absolutely beautiful! There were wildflowers everywhere and a grassy meadow with horses across from where we camped. It's a short drive from the property to Lake Pend Oreille. Sandpoint is also worth a visit if you're searching for some fun restaurants or coffee shops! We enjoyed the fire pit seating area and loved watching deer graze and run through the property. Thank you for an awesome stay!
Due to a misunderstanding of re-scheduled dates, I didn't have the opportunity to stay in the camp site, BUT, I can say the place is gorgeous! I look forward to the next opportunity to make my way back to Clark Fork, Idaho to enjoy the inspiring glow of the fields, the beauty of the horses, and the opportunity to meet the lovely hosts in person.
Had a great time camping here. The driving directions were easy to follow & the campsite was great, especially the fire pit area. There is a house fairly close to the campsite which didn't bother us, but just something to be aware of if you're coming with a larger group or looking for total privacy.
I feel like hipcamp hosts all need to have congruent signage, like Uber, so you know it’s the real deal. We arrived at dusk and couldn’t figure out where to go without bush whacking on what we thought was strictly private property. The directions were vague. Pictures would have helped. I’m sure our host would have helped us out, but out of courtesy for the holiday weekend we decided not to call at a later hour. I’m sure it’s beautiful! We were just uneasy about permission and felt lost.
