Description

Believe it or not, Malad Summit Guard Station is located just 14 miles north of Malad, Idaho. Enjoy excellent forest and high country views from the front porch of the secluded one-room cabin and keep your eye out for the local bears, wolves, moose, and more. Mill Creek runs right by the cabin where you can fish for some small brook trout or head into the woods for some hunting. Be prepared to ski, snowshoe, or snowmobile half a mile in the winter to reach the cabin, but cruise right on up in the summer. Whenever you decide to come, you’re in for a treat.
