Description

Sittin’ pretty in a mountain meadow just off the creek is Johnson Creek Guard Station. It’s a charming cabin built back in 1922, but updated with all the modern doodads to make your stay comfortable. Specifically, there are two twin beds with mattresses, two cots, a couch and a heater. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric range and cookware and utensils are provided. Just be sure to pack garbage bags, bedding, lanterns, towels and emergency drinking water. Just a short walk from the cabin there are several trails which take you into a dense pine forest. There are also excellent fishing opportunities for salmon, steelhead and trout (rainbow, bull and cutthroat) nearby.
