Host was very accommodating. The campsite we booked was muddy and wet so he moved us to a nicer, dryer site free of charge. Free firewood was nice as well
THIS PLACE DOES NOT EXIST! DO NOT STAY HERE! I drove to the two possible locations that are given in the directions(one is the address and one is the google map link, TWO SEPARATE LOCATIONS!) and neither was the right address. The google map address brings you to a random sketchy housing development in the middle of the woods where no one actually lives, I ended up just pulling over and sleeping in my car in the woods. This was a bunch of crazy BS. I tried calling the host who never answered and let his phone go to voicemail 5 times. OVERALL DO NOT BOOK THIS SITE IT IS FAKE!!!!!!

Hello Julia Ann, I am truly sorry you had trouble finding our site, but it does exist. We did not receive any calls/missed calls from you on the date that you were to arrive, again, we are very sorry that you had trouble, but I assure you our site and listing is very real. If, in the future, you would be willing to give us another chance we would like to offer you a free 2 night stay for your inconvenience.
This was a fine spot to spend a night when traveling through. It was accessible and clean, with nice fire pit (wood provided). I expected a more private spot; we were essentially camping in the driveway and we could see and hear the neighbors into the evening and early in the morning.
We didn't meet our host. I guess Hipcamp didn't confirm with him (though we got a confirmation), so he wasn't expecting us. Despite this, he let us camp on the land, so we appreciate his flexibility. Hopefully Hipcamp will work out this kink so this kind of confusion can be avoided in the future.
Follow the directions provided and you will find the spot, no problem. Trust Google Maps and you will get confused.
