Lawn area for tents was nice and well kept. However, there was no fire pit and the sprinklers came on in the middle of the night soaking everything.
I stayed at Aspen Grove in a tent site in the cottonwood trees behind the cabins on July 3. The place was rocking with people because of the holiday which worried me at first; I was on a solo road trip and wanted a good night's sleep and a little quiet under the near-full moon. I met Sharon after I drove around the area considering sleeping in the forest areas nearby instead -- I ultimately decided against it as it was crawling with UTVs. Sharon was warm, welcoming, wanted to make sure I felt safe, and offered me an additional night if I wanted to stay longer. Her vibe made me instantly content to stay there. Once sunset came upon the campground there was a hush, I put in my (vital) earplugs, and drifted away in the cottonwoods for a long, sweet sleep despite being fairly close to the road in my small tent. The restrooms and shower rooms were impeccably clean. The grounds are obviously cared for & loved- and the access point to many recreation areas is very convenient. The area is beautiful. I would stay here again, certainly. It's not very private but otherwise a lovely slice of Idaho.
Great place, we had a nice fire and watched the stars! Way better than what we expected.
A great camping spot with lots for the family to do. We stayed with two other families and 6 kids total and there was so much space for them to run and play and many fun activities!
Sharon was an amazing host with a plethora of knowledge about the local area and a whole bunch to keep us busy. We ended up staying a second day to do all the attractions and enjoy her peaceful little oasis.
Sharon was wonderful and the site was awesome. Enjoyed all the games, farm animals and communication. The bathroom was clean. Pleasantly surprised by this gem.

The firewood is adjacent to the firepit. So sorry there wasn’t a message to ask us where it was located. The sprinklers were an oversight but turned off immediately after they were discovered.
