My month-long stay at Lynn's Aspen Camp was sublime. Words fall short of describing the experience, but my best attempt follows:

I was greeted by a warm smile and a warm, welcoming spirit. Lynn is a most gracious host, attentive to the needs and requests of her guests throughout the entirety of their stay. On numerous ocassions I witnessed her creative and kindly accommodations.

Because mine was an extended stay and Aspen Camp new site on the property, Lynn worked feverishly to ensure that I had every amenity. Yes, including the kitchen sink!

With an attentiveness toward function and form, I was absolutely delighted to be welcomed with a large tent, comfortable platform bed, picnic table and benches, stand-alone fireplace, private alcove for toileting with one of Lynn's handcrafted wooden platforms with accompanying bucket toilet, her handcrafted kitchen counter with plenty of room for my campstove and gravity-fed water system (created in front of me as I watched in awe!), a propane BBQ, oversized fireside papasan seating, a refrigerator, and electricity.

The highlight of my evenings was hearing the wagon of firewood coming closer and closer. Lynn is generous and delivered wood to ensure a true camping experience (although this is glamping, for sure!). When she stayed for a chat, that made the evening even better.

Lynn and her husband are gracious, kind, interesting and evolutionary. I had the blessed opportunity to have several engaging conversations over dinner in the community kitchen and they were highlights of my stay. They are the kind of conversations that land in a way you know will be with you forever.

This stay, this land, this experience is something that no one should miss. Go for the inspired accommodations, take a shower under the watering can, gaze at the stars, hike to teepee hill, walk the trails, quest into the center of the labyrinth, make a fairy house and find the perfect place on the land for it, cook your meals in the communal outdoor kitchen, connect at the adjoining fire ring, and gaze into the forest as you sit on the outdoor "throne" (toilet).

The land and its stewards (Lynn and her husband) elicit the best from every visitor. I promise, you will leave this place and experience as a rejuventated, reconnected, inspired person.

An Experience so special and unique you will find nothing like it and no one like Lynn, our stay was in the Aspen Camp , with a view of the labyrinth and the creek right below we were so relaxed and had the most comfortable campsite, with your very own kitchen and composting toilet you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to, but you will because there is a lot of fun to be had, a beautiful property, my family loves it, no one wants to go home and we meet the some really cool people. Highly recommend this property, the Host is one of a kind , she made things really amazing.

Lynn treated us with heartfelt hospitality, kindness, and a loving professionalism. I rented the whole forested property for my Covid-safe outdoor wedding in beautiful Northern Idaho. Few in Idaho wear masks, so it meant a lot to me that she wore one when she joined our masked group of 33 friends. She knows how to make her HipCamp space comfortable, joyful, and happy.

Our large (33 people) gathering was perfect in every way -- we planned well -- and Lynn contributed heartily to my wedding's easy sweetness.
