Fantastic peaceful experience surrounded by only sounds of nature. Alika was a wonderful, warm and responsive host. Our cabin was super cosy, the bed comfy and the extra blankets were perfect. The hot water shower was much appreciated, as were the hangers and other little touches. We loved the outdoor grill and stove Alika provided us.

Being a cabin in the outdoors, we did run into a few bugs. Alika tried to spray them out.

Overall, I would definitely have loved to stay longer.

Great hosts and great, private place. After camping for a few days this was the perfect spot to rest and relax. Close to haleakela as well as a quick trip down to any town. Stopped here after taking the back road around maui.

Hosts were top notch and place was perfect for us. Will stay again.

Alika's cabin was incredible! We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The mountain/volcano-side view toward the West was amazing and the site itself is lush and relaxing. We got a hot shower after our long days out and enjoyed the relaxing and quiet cabin site. The location is ideal for staying near the road to Hana from the south and also for quickly getting to Haleakala. Can't wait to come back!

Wahi Nanea Place of Relaxation is a great place to stay for anyone who loves nature, kind people, and simplicity. The place is neat, well kept, and clean. There’s a grill, pots and pans, dinnerware, and everything you’d need to prepare a quick meal in case you want to save some money. But , the best part of staying here is that the Akana’s make you feel like family and would go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. There just the perfect hosts!
I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone period!

We had an amazing time at Cabin#3! It’s a quiet and peaceful location, a simple setup with everything you need and even a cooler and beach towels which was a sweet touch. Easy access to everything if you have a car. Thank you Alika for sharing your mountain retreat!
