This is a room in a brand new ocean-facing 4 bedroom house on a 15 acre nature sanctuary. The house gives one an expansive feeling with an incredible 180 degree panoramic ocean views. The room itself has AMAZING ocean view right from your bed!  There is a very large lanai (porch) with a brand new high quality living room set and dining table. On the Lanai the tradewinds create a  delightful natural air conditioning. Our land has truly one of the best views in the area!

Each room  has a new high quality queen bed with nice linens.  The front two rooms have large windows and glass doors. There are two bathrooms with plush towels and excellent showers.  A few steps away there is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen is also available in a separate building. There is a stove, refrigerator and lots of kitchen equipment. This is a shared kitchen so you can enjoy connecting with fellow travelers while you prepare your food.  WiFi connection is available and reliable.

Enjoy strolling through our beautiful 15 acres with expansive ocean views, 2 ponds and many gardens featuring flowers, orchids, medicinal plants, fruit trees, chickens, outdoor cats and more. Enjoy our 50 foot circular mandala flower garden featuring a custom made sculpture of Pele at the center. There are plenty of little hideaway places to discover, fruits to pick and an amazing 2 mile loop hike that goes around the neighborhood.

All of our accommodations are built with the solar & rain water catchment system to demonstrate an alternative way of living sustainably. When you are enjoying the amazing ocean view, you can feel the refreshing trade winds, and the magical energy of this ancient land. There is even a large lava tube on the land you can visit.

**Please note that on Thursday nights our neighbor hosts "Garden Temple" which is a well known public weekly ecstatic dance. This means there is some traffic along our normally quiet road and you will hear distant music playing between 7:00pm-10:00pm, but it ends promptly at 10. You are welcome to walk on over and join the party!

We are located in the most pristine and unspoiled area of Big Island. Only minutes from the famous Red Road that offers a rolling scenic view of tropical forest and turquoise blue sea shore. You will be amazed by these raw powerful landscapes and rhythmic waves crashing against rugged lava coastlines.

The famous "Red Road" is minutes away and takes you through lush coconut & mango groves, tropical rainforests, tranquil ocean side parks, plantations and lava fields. You won't see any corporate resort and tourist stores on this road. Time stops here and mother nature opens you to an old Hawaiian dream of wild beauty and grace. Within a short drive, you can reach some lovely black sand beaches including the new beach and warm pools at Isaac Hale park as well as Kehena Beach.

You won't want to miss the Wednesday night's gathering at Uncle Robert's Cultural Center where great local musicians are playing, the locals and visitors are dancing and there are delicious foods, BBQ and all kinds of goodies as well as beautiful handcrafts by local artists. On Sundays there is also the Pahoa farmers market which has a similar scene. In addition to the Thursday night dance, ten minutes down the road Hawaiian Sanctuary has a Friday evening and Sunday morning ecstatic dance. There are always yoga classes, workshops and events going on in the area. Check out the bulletin board at our natural food store in Pahoa while you're here.

There are a number of nice restaurants in Pahoa town within a short drive. Humpback whales visit this part of ocean in the winter months. Dolphins often frequent our local beaches. You will be enchanted by the magic of the nature and the unique blend of cultures of this area.

This neighborhood offers endless discoveries of beautiful spots along the seashore and in the forest, wonderful people and rich cultural activities. This is a very color community of artists, writers, organic farmers, sustainable living pioneers and free spirits. We offer you a unique experience in the paradise!

What an amazing view of the ocean! We loved the calm feeling of being on the hillside overlooking the water. The accomodations were new and felt fresh and comfortable. The property is gorgeous already and the owner is making countless improvements to give guests an even better experience. There are spaces for yoga and gardens for reflection. There were very nice bathrooms available, and the outdoor kitchen provided everything we could want to make a nice dinner and enjoy it while looking out over the water. Thanks for the great stay, highly recommended!

This place is magical and one of a kind. It truly does feel like paradise. The view of the ocean is amazing (make sure to stay in one of the two rooms facing the ocean). Fresh fruit on the property is abundant and there’s lots of space to relax, reconnect and just be. If you’re looking for some quietude and time to replenish, this is your place!
