The camp is in a private location on the farm surrounded by beautiful bird sounds and kau forest.

The living structures we built are raised 10×20 platforms with carports mounted to them. Primitive yes but adequate and made with all brand new materials . These hale (cabin or house) are outfitted with beds, storage and solar lighting .

The second structure in this area is the same style building but was made into a kitchen. The kitchen has a nice dual sink with hot running water. Plenty of storage. dual propane burners and lots of kitchen utensils to use. We have built a private outdoor shower into an enormous clump of bamboo which is quite a magical experience.

the area is planted out with young fruit trees and  you are welcome to buy fresh produce from the farm.

Our stay at Matt & Andrea’s farm was excellent! The campsite is great & very well looked after. There is two beautiful black kitties who slept with us! Cooking facilities are excellent, I would suggest to have a car as it is a little far from everything, however we survived 4 days just by hitchhiking. Overall it was a great stay & we will definitely be coming back! Thanks so much!

The cutie little kitties !Kitchen!Making new friends at the camp!

Thank you very much Lauren and panama, you guys rock. So bad the volcano park was closed that is the main attraction at our area. You guys are welcome back anytime. Being out here off the grid is really awesome and different experience and we glad you guys enjoyed specially the stars at night and the Milky Way. Enjoy the rest of your travel in Hawaii. Mahalo
