The site rests on 20+ acres of lush ranch land. My partner and I were astounded by the beauty of the farmland hugging the southern coast. The Treehouse itself is part of an off-the-grid project known as Lovevolution. The treehouse had a very comfy mattress. Amenities were also nice; we were able to take a hot shower and prepare dinner in the shared kitchen space despite arriving to the site at night. Plenty of privacy. Waking up to the unobstructed sunrise outside our window was special. Instructions for using the water heater, grill and water might seem complicated to some. The only issue I had was the placement of a Hindu holy symbol on the outhouse. I felt this action, and other appropriations of indigenous cultural symbols, could be hurtful if not explained by the host. Other than that, the host was very communicative.

Rainbow Jaguar was a perfect place to stay! We loved it! It’s peaceful and warm and breezy. We stayed for three nights. Every morning, we enjoyed the sunrise on the porch. Bear (and Destiny) were kind and real and willing to be there for whatever we needed, while also respecting our space and desire for privacy. The dogs were the icing on the cake, all gentle and sweet and welcoming. I would recommend Rainbow Honeycomb to anyone. Follow the written directions and communicate with Bear without worry, all is good.

Loved the treehouse location- much more private and out of the way than we expected. The check in process could be made a little clearer but the experience was great overall! Our host was helpful and friendly and the location was beautiful. There were also very friendly dogs that we loved having wander with us! Cool, off the grid spot.

We highly recommend staying with Dreaming Bear. A wonderful off the grid experience for travellers wanting to relax away from cray. We found it very inspiring and will definitely keep it in mind for our next Big Island visit. The Rainbow Jaguar room where we stayed is awesome. Very cozy. You won't regret staying here. Cheers.
