Watch sunsets with free guacamole and wake up to lovely morning Oceanview on deck campers under 14 not permitted. Baby lambs are born twice a year, they like to watch campers from their pasture. Crack Mac nuts from the grove & enjoy watching the animals but this is a working farm with sheep and a ram so they must not be touched or chased as they could become irritable and hurt someone. Campers may use the farm kitchen to microwave or toaster oven, dishes, and fridge. Alsoi share the upper upper deck i from of my living area so you can dine and watch sunsets on the ocean 1 mile below, where there is a short hike to a large coconut lined bay. Volcano national part is 62 miles away and greensand beach is about a half hour and 2 mile walk or 4wd. Closest restaurant and store is 12 miles from my house but closes early so prepare ahead. The best beach is “2step” 18 miles north and 3 miles down to ocean and famous Coffee Shack is 20 miles north of my home (, which is at mile 88 in Milolii area above hwy )(43 miles south of airport)

Barbara Lamm is an incredibly friendly, kind woman, full of positive energy and stories to share. She has the heart of a healer, and it’s evident through her actions and maintenance of her beautiful property. With three sheep, multiple chickens, and a cat, amongst other animals, a true ‘farm’ is produced. Her house that she built in 1974 sits atop a beautiful hill and overlooks the ocean, a perfect location for the taciturn tradition of breakfast. Along with what you bring, Barbara generously provided papaya and a variety of other fruits, and offered information on the many coffee, avocado, guava, aloe, macadamia, etc plants and trees she also grows. By far the most relaxing place to take children or go by yourself. My daughter and I stayed in the guest room of the house with s bathroom and my boys were in the green house with the bunk beds. . The green house has bunk beds as well as s tent with an air mattress . It is a true farm experience within 30 minutes from town . Free WiFi is also available for those who enjoy the best of both urban and rural worlds. We loved the property and our host .
Thank you Barbara!!! Amazing spot! I am going to miss the cat and Wally and the girls so much!!!! Good luck with the upkeep and all the things : )
Barbara is a great host with lots of information on places to visit. The site is easy to find and well located for visiting the west coast. But the shower is a little rudimentary it’s better to take a shower on the beaches.
Amazing location & amazing host!
Amazing location & amazing host! Do not hesitate to choose Barbara's fruit farm to pitch your tent. Our host welcomed us with many stories, delicious hand-picked avocados and lime, and even some macadamia nuts to crack ourselves!
Would definitely go again.
Inspiring company, perks for labor
Barbara welcomed us like an old friend. We camped safely and soundly in the yard and used the refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster oven for meals. In our initial meeting with Barbara, we learned she needed some help on the property and offered to work. We enjoyed cutting back some branches and piling sticks with her for about an hour and we're generously rewarded!

Enjoyed you two, I keep looking at the fence you labored to make nice and other jobs it helps to get help. Thank you blessings
Basically flawless, amazing camp
We arrived just before sunset, and just as advertised Barbara fed us fresh avocados while we marveled at one of the most epic sunsets I’ve seen in my life. The sheep were almost ready to calf and they greeted us in the field in the morning when we opened our tent! The camping space is quiet, private, overflowing with beautiful fresh fruit growing all around on the trees, and perfect weather all year round except a few days here and there. Barbara is a rare delightful host and I can’t wait to go back!

Bryan and guest were great campers and very kind, hope they return someday
Barbara’s place it so sweet and so is Barbara! She had SO MANY awesome suggestions on what to do in the area. We spent the afternoon down at “Two Step” snorkeling and swimming with the dolphins, definitely a pretty sweet spot to check out! Barbara has set up a few places for guests to stay, you can choose between the converted greenhouse (it is pretty rustic) and the flat clearing behind her house. There is bountiful fruit on this property and the papaya we picked was delicious! Barbara allows guests to sit on the upstairs deck of her house and use the table, which is wonderful; it looks out on her property and the ocean, the perfect spot for meals or a morning cup of coffee. Thanks so much for showing us around Barbara! It was so nice meeting you

Barbara was a delightful and knowledgeable hostess in the lovliest setting! My sister and I were very pleased with her recommendations for stunning nearby beaches, hikes, parks, Mac nut and coffee farms, This is an ideal place to experience the heart of the island in a secluded, safe and accommodating camp atmosphere. Go here to see the amazing nature of Hawaii in a peaceful sanctuary with opportunity for the wide range of nearby adventures and discoveries nearby.

Cindy, it was a pleasure to host you and your sister., and a joy to see you enjoy the island and my little farm, thank you blessings, aloha, Barbara
