Learn more about this land: Casita Azul offers you a secluded retreat within a forest of ferns. Located approximately 15 minutes from the Volcanoes National Park where the experience of a life time awaits you, as the Volcano is currently erupting! Experience the sites with Hilo town, several beaches and Farmers markets only a short drive away. For an early morning adventure you can travel to the Black Sand beach, a 45 minute drive, to see sea turtles resting on the beach. This off grid cabin will sleep 2 adults comfortably on a full size bed. Embrace the freedom of the jungle with the bathroom and shower located outside. Enjoy the relaxation of the rain from the comfort of your private lanai (porch). For the full effect at night, open the windows and you will hear a nighttime lullaby created by the Coqui Frogs. Parking is located near the cabin with a short walk on a beautiful pathway cut through the ferns and trees. Laundry is also available for guest upon request. Shower towels are provided.

Beautiful in the Forest

We could not have been more pleased with our short stay in the lovely, little cabin in the forest. It was exceptionally clean inside and outside. The ambience was perfect for us. Everything was as it wanted our visit to the volcano and our accommodation to be. While it rained during our two and half days exploring, it was a gentle rain most of the time. For sleeping, this was 'just right'. The cute, little frogs that sing all night did not deter us from a good night's rest. We loved the tropical sounds. The Hot water in the lovely outdoor shower was a special treat. The design of the shower and the toilet area were unique using the bamboo. We loved it! One of the nicest parts of our stay was Domino, the little black and white kitty. She made our return each day and awaking each morning all the more special; just so sweet. Jesse, you are kind and thoughtful. Thank you for the little fan and the bedside lights! The casita is lovely, and the outdoor plantings add to the charm. Our stay made the experience to visit the volcano, perfect. Melissa & Brian
