Barbara’s place it so sweet and so is Barbara! She had SO MANY awesome suggestions on what to do in the area. We spent the afternoon down at “Two Step” snorkeling and swimming with the dolphins, definitely a pretty sweet spot to check out! Barbara has set up a few places for guests to stay, you can choose between the converted greenhouse (it is pretty rustic) and the flat clearing behind her house. There is bountiful fruit on this property and the papaya we picked was delicious! Barbara allows guests to sit on the upstairs deck of her house and use the table, which is wonderful; it looks out on her property and the ocean, the perfect spot for meals or a morning cup of coffee. Thanks so much for showing us around Barbara! It was so nice meeting you

The resident sheep on the property, so cute! The view of the ocean and the front of the property from the deckBarbara also has plenty of Macadamia nut trees and she gave us some nuts to crack on her rock, they are soo good!Getting my tent set up

Barbara was a delightful and knowledgeable hostess in the lovliest setting! My sister and I were very pleased with her recommendations for stunning nearby beaches, hikes, parks, Mac nut and coffee farms, This is an ideal place to experience the heart of the island in a secluded, safe and accommodating camp atmosphere. Go here to see the amazing nature of Hawaii in a peaceful sanctuary with opportunity for the wide range of nearby adventures and discoveries nearby.

Friendly sheep and chickens bring charm to the camp. Remarkable hiking. This is stunning coastline just south of camp.Magical and mystical area at Black Sands beach.

Barbara Lamm is an incredibly friendly, kind woman, full of positive energy and stories to share. She has the heart of a healer, and it’s evident through her actions and maintenance of her beautiful property. With three sheep, multiple chickens, and a cat, amongst other animals, a true ‘farm’ is produced. Her house that she built in 1974 sits atop a beautiful hill and overlooks the ocean, a perfect location for the taciturn tradition of breakfast. Along with what you bring, Barbara generously provided papaya and a variety of other fruits, and offered information on the many coffee, avocado, guava, aloe, macadamia, etc plants and trees she also grows. By far the most relaxing place to take children or go by yourself. My daughter and I stayed in the guest room of the house with s bathroom and my boys were in the green house with the bunk beds. . The green house has bunk beds as well as s tent with an air mattress . It is a true farm experience within 30 minutes from town . Free WiFi is also available for those who enjoy the best of both urban and rural worlds. We loved the property and our host .

Great camping site. Barbara is so nice. Large space. A lot of fruit trees. It is in a remote location. There are farm animals around. There are a little bit of mosquitoes but barbara has a good stuff against them!

Barbara is a great host with lots of information on places to visit. The site is easy to find and well located for visiting the west coast. But the shower is a little rudimentary it’s better to take a shower on the beaches.

A perfect camping to live a real hawaiian experience!
You can enjoy a morning coffee with the ocean view.
Barbara is a very lovey person. She took the time to make us guava juice and coffee every mornings!
I learned how to crack mac nuts and harvest bananas!
She shared with us very local and hidden places to visit.
I wish her the best for the years to come.
Thank you so much!
