We aren't a farm and aren't really a Ranch so we must be a FaRanch! As life started getting more complicated we turned more to the quiet of country living. Come visit our FaRanch and meet our menagerie of gardens and critters including Alpacas or just enjoy the serenity of the Georgia woods. We are situated on 13 acres with access to nearly 300 timber acres. While you are here don't forget to visit our Farm Store!!!
You will see Alpacas on a short walk from the site to the Farm Store where you can learn all about the animals, and even take some Alpaca fiber crafting classes. We love to share our love of Alpacas with everyone.
Oconee National Forest is just down the road or if your fancy suites you drop in on the Whistle Stop Cafe for some fried green tomatoes. The FaRanch is also close to both Indian Springs and High Falls state parks.

This place is a gem. Nancy is a great host. Really showed me around and gave me a nice welcome. Additionally, she's just an interesting woman with an interesting life so there's some good conversation to be had. The wooded area where the camp sites are located is just lovely. It's just a .5 mile loop which makes for a nice walk with the dog. And oh, my but the animals! The alpacas are just the cutest things ever. And the donkey is so friendly he's sad when you are not loving on him. And the two dogs joyfully bounding about but in a very well-behaved manner...It was a slice of heaven for this animal lover. The miniature horse even decided to introduce himself right before I left. Great spot!
