Gibbs Garden is less than 15 minutes away. Go pan for Gold in Dahlongonega, explore the Blue Ridge Mountains, or visit the Cabbage Patch Factory in Cleveland, Georgia. You can venture up I 75 and visit the Etowah Indian Mounds, New Echota, which was the headquarters of the Cherokee Indians, and Chief Van's House. Or spend a day in the Teluis Science Museum in Carterville.

Of course you may want to take a day and visit Stone Mountain or all the museums downtown Atlanta. Marietta, Georgia has wonderful Gone with the Wind Museum. So many things to see and do.

We were so excited to still enjoy our little camping trip. We were originally scheduled at a state park with about 6 people but the sites were filling up and we did not want to be around strangers and the cost was way more than our now small group wanted to incur. I found a handful of sites that still had our dates available and sent them to my friend. She picked her top 3 as did I and we both had Show Me Farms as our first pick.
The property is gorgeous. We stayed on site 2 closer to the creek. We brought our city car since it was just myself and my son and a friend, definitely will bring the Jeep next time. Deborah and her husband helped us load down the hill to the site. They brought us a table, benches, a portable fire ring, and a trash can. The restrooms and water are about 150 yards away and the is a steep-ish hill. They left us a golf cart to use on property once we got up the hill. The hill is like the portal between the two worlds. We were able to leave the cars and civilization at the top of the hill.
We could not have asked for better hosts or more beautiful property. As avid rural campers this was the lap of luxury. We are very accustom to packing in and out of our sites.
Lots of trees for trees for hammocks and limbs on the ground for starting the fires. We stayed on the lower shelf, next to the creek, the first night then moved up to a slightly higher level, due to the rain the following night. It was great to have the whole area to our selves.
We came home refreshed and looking forward to returning to Show Me Farms with our other friends who missed out this trip. Trusting the universe to clear your path can lead you to some of the most magnificent places. This is one of those place.

What a blast! Site is great for overnight or weekend stay. Hosts were great - welcomes us upon arrival, provided firewood and a lift to our site. Son had a great time by the creek and looking at the animals. Can’t wait to go back.

What a special place! Deborah's farm is a little slice of heaven in North Georgia. The site behind the barn sits on a babbling brook and has more than enough room for your pupper to run and for your party to space out. The evening glow and the morning sunshine coming through the trees is a thing of beauty.

Deborah and Rob are wonderful hosts. We arrived late after a long stressful day of travel and they were super helpful and welcoming. We awoke to a beautiful and peaceful view of the rolling hills.

Morning view from the roadside RV site. The road is very quiet and lightly traveled. Morning view from the roadside RV site. The road is very quiet and lightly traveled. Morning view from the roadside RV site. The road is very quiet and lightly traveled.

The hosts were great and helpful. Beautiful land with horses and barn. Nice to have a flushing toilet, power and water within walking distance if needed. And the playground and tire swing were a nice surprise. We camped a site 8 down by a creek. I could only see one other small group of campers the whole time and they were pleasant. Fire ring, bench and small picnic table included, which made it easier. There's a super steep hill getting down to it and they gave us a tractor ride to help with gear (don't try the golf cart or your own car). Several nice horses at the barn and in pasture to look at. Easy drive from Atlanta area. First time hip camper and I will definitely do again based on this experience.

Went in having questions about the location of the camp sites. Was given the location I wanted and couldn’t of been happier. The hosts picked me up in a truck and drove me and my company to the campsite with all our stuff. The stay was perfect and I can’t wait to return 10/10 recommend.
