Just 25 minutes east of Atlanta you can find yourself in utter peace on a large lake. Such is Peaceful Land on Beautiful Lake. Just driving up Rejini’s gravel driveway between the large trees I started to feel more relaxed.

Rejini has 18 acres for you to explore. Alot of her land is cleared, rolling, and lakeside, but she also has plenty of land in the woods if that’s what you prefer. We drove right up to the lake in the wide open to set up camp. There is plenty enough room for several other camps to be used with everyone having their own bit of privacy. If you are planning to tent camp and the weather turns bad, there is a red barn set back on a hill and also a covered but open area to the side of the barn that can be utilized for setting up your tent inside. Rejini is accepting and open to guests finding the space that feels right to them.

The sunrise is one you don’t want to miss shining on the lake! And keep your eyes peeled and your ears alert, because the land is also home to deer, rabbits, coyotes, and the like. You can bring your dog or cat on a leash when you visit and while there are no bathroom facilities to use, there are 3 different water spigots that you can use.

Peaceful Land on Beautiful Lake is well worth your time to visit. It just feels good to be on this property! Please note there is no fishing allowed on the lake. You will be glad you stayed here.

Inside this barn or under the side overhang you can set up your tent in bad weather. This place is beautiful!Snack box.Looking lakeside.

Rejini was a lovely host. We arrived after dark and she had collected some firewood for us and showed us where we could park our van. We fell asleep to the sound of cicadas and woke up to beautiful light on the lake. I would recommend this camping spot to anyone! Thank you Rejini, for facilitating a beautiful stay!

Rejini was a very kind host. It was raining when we got there so she offered to let us pitch camp in the barn or even on her porch. She even let us use some scrap wood from her construction project to start a fire.

A beautiful site along the water. The lake was wonderful at sunset and even better at sunrise. There were plenty of places to camp so you will have quite a few choices. I arrived late and the landowner was there to greet me. She pointed me in the right direction and gave me recommendations on where the best view would be. If I am back around I will be stopping back.
