We are the third generation to live on this property.  My grandfather built our house and the garage near where your campsite is.  Old pecan trees that still produce in the fall.  Quiet spot that is ten minutes from the beach and 10 minutes away from Savannah's Historic District

Convenient, Southern hospitality
Amazing! Our first hip camp experience and Laura set the bar high. She gave great recommendations of things to do, places to eat, and where to bike. Her house is so convenient to everything in the area. Plus, it was fun to say “Hi!” to her chickens (they’re very quiet).

Southern hospitality at its finest.
Hosts were very friendly and hospitable. Site was clean and accommodating. Very quiet and open. Highly recommend bug spray for anywhere in the area.

Amazing hosts. Great campsite. Just know you are near a river in the South. This means bring bug spray. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Laura’s place! Great location, right in between Savannah downtown and Tybee Island. Laura and her husband Steven are great, too! Laura offered us fresh eggs and even a refund for a 1st night that we could not make due to weather. I have enjoyed our conversations with Steven! They also have a dock where you can swim and dive and have all the fun on the water! Only thing that was not perfect was ants. Steven warned us about them upon arrival, but still... they bite and then the terrible itching starts! You have to wear closed toe shoes. Steven said he tried to get rid of them not using pesticides, but we agreed, it does not really work. It is time for a last resort now :) I am pretty they will fix the issue soon and we would be just glad to come back again! All-in-all, this is a great to stay while visiting Savannah/Tybee Island.
