There are two types of camping at the ranch, primitive group camping area, and the developed RV campsites. Both camping areas are easily accessed by vehicle on gravel road. Very privately located on a 143-acre horse ranch, about 9 miles of hiking and horseback trails, adjacent to both camping areas, and spans the ranch property on both sides of the river. A toilet with hot shower at the equestrian center about 500 feet away. WiFi is only available near the main residence. There is a fishing pond on the property and lots of wildlife in the woods. Most of this listing gives descriptions that apply to the primitive group camp area. The base fee is $5/PERSON, not $5/group, and there is a $100/night minimum. Sites are not individually designated on this level, shady, sandy area next to the river with room for about 30 tents. It features a large brick fire pit, a small picnic shelter with charcoal grill and two picnic tables under it.
The four individual RV sites with hookups are in a separate area from the primitive camping area, and priced $26.75/night per site including tax. The RV sites have paved parking pads, picnic tables, rock fire pits, 30 amp electric hookups, and water hookups. There is a dump station on the premises, but no sewer hookup at each individual site.
Guests are welcome to hike the hiking/horse trails (about 9 miles), and to fish in the stocked pond, you can keep what you catch. Horseback riding lessons are available for an additional fee and need to be booked at least 3 days in advance.
There is a $20 surcharge for guests arriving after 7 p.m.
