Jennifer and I thoroughly enjoy this little slice of the Georgia backwoods, and we are excited to share it with you. Learn more about this land: We have 6 acres of rolling hills and nature trails. A water hose and 30 amp RV extension cord run to the campsite from an unoccupied house that we use for storage. The driveway is a little steep, but easily manageable for cars, passenger vans, pop ups, and small travel trailers of 19ft or less. There is a fire ring, picnic table, and a park style charcoal grill for your use. You may hear a distant rooster crow, quacking ducks, or a few cattle on neighboring properties, but they are far enough away that they are unlikely to disturb you. We hope you will enjoy your stay here. Notes: 1) The 19ft max travel trailer length is to allow sufficient clearance to turn corners. If you have any doubt at all whether we can accommodate your rig, please send a private message before making a booking request. 2) There are foxes, coyotes, owls, and other wildlife that might bark, chirp, buzz, sing, hoot, hunt, fight, and howl during the night. While the wildlife tends to avoid contact with humans, you may consider bringing some type of white noise to help you sleep.

Don’t do it.

This is literally the side yard of an “abandoned” house on a side road. If you are looking for seclusion, serenity and to not feel like you are the unassuming star of a horror movie - this is not the spot for you.

Nice bar camp for exploring NW Ga.

Clifton has a nice RV site perfect for a truck camper, van or a small trailer. The spot is outfitted with a park grill and grilling tools, a nice park bench and fireplace. Although I did not need to use it, it is nice that Clifton provides water and electricity as well. This would make his spot viable in the heat of the summer when you may want to run an air conditioner. Understandably your gray / blackwater needs to be carried out. The field behind the parking spot is quite large so tent camping would also be possible, although there's not much shade. The edge of the parking sparkling to the field does tend to retain water after a lot of rain.

Peaceful and relaxing. Out with nature. Got to hear coyotes howling. Great experience.

Great stay!

The campsite was nice and had a nice view. It was the perfect size for our small (14 ft.) teardrop camper. The driveway is steep (and gravel) but it wasn't a problem. There is a house right beside the campsite but it doesn't appear to be lived in, so the site is private and hidden by trees from the road. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was very responsive to any questions we had!
