Quiet 6 acre homestead on a rolling meadow, surrounded by woods. Great for watching birds and other wildlife. 2 miles from Barnsley Gardens resort, and 8 miles from public access to the Etowah River.

This site is recommended for RVs of 26ft or less due to limited space for turning and backing into the site.. The covered site has 30A power, septic hookup, and great tasting well water. Gravel is level, firm, and well drained. The site has a fire pit and a BBQ smoker.

I do keep farm animals on other parts of the property from time to time. A distant rooster crow will serve as a reminder that you are in the country, but not likely loud enough to disturb you. There may be surprise visits from a curious guinea fowl, domestic duck, or a very friendly puppy. I keep my own travel trailer here most of the time, so a couple of days advance notice would be appreciated. My other campsite, Hillside Homeplace, is usually available on short notice.

Great hipcamp experience for our family. The covered setup spot was super nice to stay out of the heat. The plant tour was super interesting and we learned a bunch from Clif and Jennifer; two of the nicest people you can hope to meet. Very generous with their time and knowledge. We would come back again.
