About Camping on Blue Creek Farm
Pitch your tent in an open field, by a slow moving river, or for those wanting softer ground, pitch your tent in our sand bedded grass arena. The farm has a breathtaking view of Mount Yonah. Hints of cooler weather are gracing Northeast Georgia, and the leaves are beginning to change. Come enjoy the beautiful weather and the gorgeous leaves as they turn to fall colors. Each camping spot on the farm is secluded, private, and quiet. Helen, Georgia is a 10 minute drive from the farm. Helen has a fun family atmosphere, where campers can enjoy shopping, putt-putt, tubing, and hiking. There are many fall events to do each weekend including the North Georgia Corn Maze, Picking Pumpkins, and tons of outdoor activities. There are numerous hiking trails within an easy drive from the farm, including the wonderful Mt. Yonah. We would be happy to recommend trails within you and your family's ability!

The vibe at Camping on Blue Creek Farm
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Samantha and Bruce were great hosts, they love their land and welcoming people into it. Rolling hills surround as you drive to the property under the shadow of Yonah Mountain. This is a working farm run by friendly people. They have a beautiful party barn that has played host to wedding receptions. The acreage has two creeks and campsites on both. We chose the site below cattle pasture which led us to be greeted by the sweet girls at the fence line for our breakfast. A picnic table made eating and cooking easy. The spot was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. Blue Creek is close to a ton of hiking and tourist spots in north Georgia. We got to hike Yonah Mountain and visit Helen - a mock german town home to tubing on the Chattahoochee and good beer.
We had a great time, they were really friendly and helpful, and the place was great. We stayed by the barn that has a flush toilet and hot water as we had the kids with us, and it made it really comfortable and easy. Kids had a blast. I would definitely recommend staying here.
