What is it like staying at our 100 acre farm? It's perfect if you crave a private, beautiful, open space that's uncrowded and safe. Over the years we've hosted musicians, artists, and writers who come here to have a tranquil setting. Those folks always loved our property and encouraged us to share our beautiful farm and its amenities with others.

Water, power ( 35 and 50 amp), and sewer available.

We live in a great small town, in coastal GA, on a lovely 100-acre farm (You cannot see a neighbor for 1/4 mile) with woods, pond with dock, historic cabin (unoccupied, acts as a small lodge) walking trails, peace, quiet, wildlife, very close proximity trail bicycling, excellent road bicycling (our town hosts one of the largest best bike events in the southeast.)  We have a mild winter climate with most winter days breezy but sunny. Spring and summer are sublime. August is sweltering except in deep shade -- thankful for the large trees we have on the property.

We're 12 miles off I-16.

20 minutes from Statesboro, Ga.

1 hour from Savannah.

1.5 hours to Hilton Head.

1 hour to The Golden Isles.

6-8 minutes to the nearest large grocery store,

We're 1/4 mile on a hard-packed, well-maintained county dirt road.                        (We pull our 5th wheeler RV on the road a great deal.)

We can accommodate large rigs also with plenty of space to turn, maneuver, and park extra vehicles.

There are 3 full hook up RV sites and 1 boondocking/tent site on 100 acres,

Sites 1 is a 50, amp, full hookup, back in with plenty of space to turn and maneuver for backing. It will accommodate up to a 65 foot RV with slides.

Sites 2 is close to site 1 and is full hookup with 30 amp, back in with plenty of space to turn and maneuver for backing. It will accommodate up to a 40 foot RV with slides.

Site 3 is 150 yards away from 1 & 2. It's 30 or 50 amp, full hookup, and a pull-through. Works well for up to 40 foot RVs with slides.

Site 4 is a boondocking or tent site with extension cord power and water. Boondockers and tenters can use the cabin for showers and toilet.

We welcome overnighters or campers who might want to spend several days, weeks, or longer on our property and enjoy the mild winters, water, wildlife, and the quiet, slow, natural life. We have a security gate entrance, and we will even share our garden with you.

We don't believe in nickel and diming guests. If you want to use the kayaks, go ahead. If you want some fresh eggs, go in the chicken tractor and get them.

Although we live on the property, we like to maintain our privacy as well as give you plenty of privacy too. Our house is tucked on one side of the farm out of the way.

No strange behaviors, nudists, or unfriendly people.

Adults only since this is a wooded area with a pond and dock. Dock has some high places unsuitable for young children.

Well-behaved pets welcome on a leash.

Tiny homes welcome too!

This site blew us away!! The host Mike greeted us from the dirt road to help guide us into our site. Then Karen showed us the amazing container garden full of fresh goodies and shared some beautiful produce (see the pic of the salad we made - yum!!) The farm has 2 campsites right now. They are a bit close together but so convenient to have water/electric/sewer at such a small family location. They have plans to expand but I do hope they keep the same small charm. There were so many sweet details - a rug by the fire pit, a hammock hanging in the woods, chairs on the dock. We were actually even treated to some live music from their beautiful daughter and family friend by the fire! Truly every detail was thought of and I can’t recommend this place enough. For sure where we would stop next time thru Georgia - thank you for your incredible hospitality!!

Heartfelt thanks to you, Tessa for the kind review. We do plan to stay very small in order to allow everyone to maintain social distancing and have privacy. We quickly realized that we needed to change the sites making them further apart from each other, so we relocated a 3rd site 150 feet northeast from the others. I think we will only use site 2 in conjunction with site 1 if guests are traveling together. Thank you for the input on this. We enjoyed being your hosts. What a delightful and beautiful couple y'all are. Best of luck in your travels and adventures. I am loving your photos on Instagram too. #magicalmysteryrvtour

!Wonderful family, that also opened their door since we did not have signal and access to internet. They made us feel like family, and the whole farm is so gorgeous and peaceful. We can't wait to come back soon!

We had a wonderful time staying here and will be staying again when we are in the area. Beautiful camp sites and hosts! Close enough to check out Savannah but a nice quiet location to call home while you're there.

One of the next campsites we’ve stayed at! Beautiful property with walking trails, a spacious field, and a lake. It was spacious and really easy to set up, and the full hook up made for a relaxing trip. The hosts were really lovely and friendly - they brought us fresh eggs, turmeric, and bread, and set up a corn hole game for us one afternoon. It really was a perfect getaway - highly recommend.

Note - we have Verizon and didn’t have service. We could make phone calls in some areas of the farm, but had no internet/data. We didn’t mind at all! But good to know.

Mike and Karen are beautiful people with a beautiful thing going on. We stayed on site 3; it was very private next to their large pond. We didn’t have the best weather but still really enjoyed our stay. Karen baked us a fresh loaf of bread 💜 they left fresh eggs from their chickens for us and they were lifesavers helping us out with electric problems with our RV 🙏💜. They are incredibly accommodating. They invited us to celebrate the New Years Eve with them and we were excited to hang out with such a great group of people (they invited the few other people that were staying at the other sites) but after the struggles with the RV and traveling we had to go to bed and pass on the festivities. I would definitely recommend staying here and if I’m traveling this way I’ll definitely come back. We visited Savannah while we were here and it was SO charming!! 💜💜

We originally where going to stay in a tent, but it was raining so the owners where so sweet and let us stay in the 100 year old cabin. It was a dream!!!! I couldn't imagine a better place to spend some quality time with my wife and dog.

Thank you for the very kind review and for choosing to stay with us. Having such nice folks like you and your wife was our pleasure, and we feel like we not only hosted y'all, but we made new friends. Btw, Jack was a great guest too: he's one of the most well mannered 4 legged guys we've ever met. And your wife's photos are wonderful. THANKS for posting them. Please come back and see us anytime.
