It is a nice and big spot to stay. About 30 minutes to downtown Savannah. John is very nice and helpful. When we arrived, he showed up to explain us the campsite. There is a nice and clean fire pit where you also can cook. John and his wife let us stay in a huge tent! We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend it!
Great little spot. Found this at the last minute and it ended up being a good place to base out of to see Savanah and the surrounding area. No frills but well taken care of and everything you need for car camping.
Peaceful country setting
I was so happy to get to Black Creek for that camping in the country feeling. Spacious, lots of trees, super friendly hosts ... just very laid-back and exactly what I was looking for. I needed a break from the usual crowded campgrounds and RV parks.
Also, I needed to work while there and had a good AT&T signal so that was nice too.
Great spot and even better hosts
Hosts went above and beyond to help me when my house batteries died. Thank you! The property is beautiful with both shady and sunny sites. Close to groceries, gas, etc. And the outdoor shower is amazing. Endless hot water! Thanks for a great stay.
My husband and I had a great stay at Black Creek. It was private, clean, and easy to navigate to and from. The owners were readily accessible if we needed them over email and phone, but everything was so nicely set up we never really did.
The outdoor shower is a nice touch and makes the stay even better, so you can wash some of the dirt of from exploring the day before.
It's an easy drive to Savannah or Tybee Island and a great option if you would rather camp than stay at a hotel.
Safe, clean, private
Jeanine was really nice. The site was awesome! We only stayed one night so we didn't get to explore the area, but it was such a nice site, I would have loved to stay longer.
A wonderful property and camping area. Exactly as advertised. Great hosts. The perfect place to stay. I highly recommend getting the bonfire would ahead of time for a nice bonfire. And the walk to the creek is also very nice.
