If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We pulled up to Woodbury Farms after going back and forth on Cattle Drive Trail a couple times and absolutely fell in love! (Just as a heads up, the GPS will try to send you into an open pasture. As you turn onto Cattle Drive Trail, keep an eye out for the wooden sign with white painted numbers on it on the left!).
Though we got a little turned around, as soon as we opened the gate and let ourselves in, we knew we had found a special place. There are all kinds of animals here: a goat that will literally follow you around, a duck, many chickens, several horses, a miniature pony and even a pig! Most of the animals are just roaming around and are happy to let you pet them. If you’re interested at all in animals, this farm will let you interact with them. We found it really easy to relax here because the animals were so loving.
As far as the actual camping goes, the host will most likely show you where she’d like you to put your tent or vehicle but when we arrived she was out for the day and said we could find a spot wherever we liked! We explored the property on foot and then chose a spot just off the main sandy driveway that was in a bit of shade. There are numerous places to choose from, all of which we think would make a great place to spend an evening or two.
Oh and there is a toilet and shower on the premises. Just follow the purple blazes on the trees and you’ll end up at a most unique bathroom!
We easily recommend this as a place to stay and hope you have a fun time here!
This was my first booking with Hipcamp and I must say that I was very pleased not only with the booking process and use of the app but also very pleased with Jenna and Woodbury Farm. What a lovely little place. I enjoyed my stay there and communing with the animals was very special to me. I’ll definitely visit again and I do recommend them for a stay
“best day ever”
Excellent stay! I could not recommend this location more. The animals on property make the experience even better. All animals are friendly and want your attention. Camp site is against the woods, making it feel more like traditional camping. Felt safe during our stay and had access to clean facilities on site.
Could not ask for more!
We camped here for 3 days and had an awesome time. Jenna was very cool and more than accomadating. Its peaceful, chill and full of amimals. Its a 45 minute drive or so to the beach and around 30 minutes to wakiwa springs and very close to orlando. Geneva was a neat town too. Fun fact, one of the co conspirators in the Lincoln assasination is buried in the geneva cemetery. I really hope to go back!
Jenna and all of her farm animals are very sweet and nice! The property is beautiful and the showers / toilet is very cozy and a neat aesthetic. I very highly recommend you make this your next camping destination. Woodbury farms does not disappoint!
WOW! This place was way better than I could have imagined! Jenna and the others went above and beyond for my friend and I! I had never camped on a farm before and we ended up spending the entire day roaming the grounds and petting the animals. Jenna gave us a tour upon arrival and was extremely responsive. We had site 2 which was nice and wooded, the outdoor shower was amazing, and all the animals were super friendly! I HIGHLY recommend staying here even if only for the night. You won’t regret it! Thanks you for the amazing hospitality Jenna!!
I loved it! It's a little paradise. The outdoor shower it's great, you have to share with some chikens 😁 We made a fire, you have lot of twigs of dry woods. The animals are curious so horse, dogs, cats, goat ( this goat is awsome) gonna watch What are you cooking. I really enjoy my stay and the Host are attentive :)
Jenna is a great host who is friendly, helpful and really loves all of her animals. The site is rustic so be prepared with good boots and roughin it a bit. The outdoor shower and a cold beer are much needed and thoroughly enjoyed after a day at the ranch. Would absolutely stay here again!
What an amazing experience
Private, secluded, beautiful space, and the farm animals were amazing. Brought my teenage daughter who doesn’t care much for camping. We set up our hammocks and she loved it. The host Jenna was great. All around great weekend.
