Great place for the value, it just very new so not many people staying there at the moment (good for if you like your privacy). You can camp very basic if you want but there are plenty of resources available. Also lots of cute animals to see and pet.
Excellent place for a family trip to experience a farm setting. Wonderful hosts, very committed to the property. Donations are what keep this place thriving, rescue animals fed, and open for the public. Currently, with COVID-19, the farm has seen a sharp decline in food and donations, keep them in mind when thinking of small business help.
Amazing experience for family
When your 5 year old tells you to go online and give this place 5 stars that says something!
They literally treated us like family!
We stayed for two days during a weekday and had the entire campsite area to ourself in the horse pasture! There is so many activities for the children to play on and explore, once we checked in to the farm they had all the entertainment they needed with tons of animals, gardens, playgrounds, swings, and slides.
Everybody on the farm is so nice and with a 5 year old that asks questions constantly, they were very good with connecting with the children and educating them about the animals. They took us on a full tour of the land in their tractor when we first arrived which the children loved and we ended up being there on a day they had a yard party as well with lots of love and animals.
Dont even get me starteddddd on the animals. You can walk throughout the farm with all kinds of friendly horses, a cow, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, roosters, a turtle, possum, rabbits, dogs, roaming free on the land and also in their respective places but very open and friendly to eating and being petted by little children!
This experience was literally what my family needed. My 1 year old and 5 year old loved it, I had to beg them to even leave the property for a store run because they were in love.
Im 9months pregnant the staff even helped me set up my tent.
They literally went above and beyond to do right by us we have been telling everyone we know and will definitely cone back anytime we are in Jacksonville again because we met so many wonderful people from the workers to the visitors its no way you could NOT visit this magical place again and again.
All for $20 a night, like wow! I dont even think words can express how great of an experience this was for us.
