Maureen was very responsive to my request to stay at her farm and to my questions. We enjoyed watching the farm animals and listening to the owls during the night.

Wow... my friend and I were floored by Tumble Farm.
Overwhelmingly positive, all around. Couldn't have asked for nicer hosts as well. Lots of space under and around giant trees/pastures. Flat ground for camping. Giant firepit area, heated showers, multiple bathroom (outhouse) options (all clean), tons of adorable animals walking around, scenic sitting spots... bits of something for everyone.
They're a farm in the growing, with a people-centric attitude. As such, there are also multiple airbnb spots throughout, so you may end up making new friends with fellow travelers. It's my understanding that they're taking on wwoof and other green outreach programs as well.
All around, I loved it. Even the drive up was pleasant. Highly recommend!

Front porch of the hosts home. Visible from the road. The biggest sign you're here, look for the yellow submarine trailer...Great spots for a fire and sitting. The entrance to Tumble Farm.

This was a wonderful, relaxing camp. It is very primitive, and the atmosphere is amazing. From farm animals, to a variety of wildlife, this place created a lot of rejuvenation. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend.

What a cool site! Tumble farm is very pretty with fun animal companions that roamed the area. There were three pastures to choose from and we choose the one furthest in the back. We had a small camper and a tent in the back lot and made a campfire every night. Our site was party shaded which was nice! It was definitely a long hike to the bathrooms so you would want to bike or drive.

The farm is close to several state parks - def a lot to do in the area! Would recommend to anyone looking to experience some of north central Florida.
