This is a very nice property and Franco was very welcoming. Set way back off the main road. Very quiet and secluded. Would definitely go back.

Great option for Santos MTBikers!
This was our first time using Hipcamp and the experience was very similar to how an Air BNB goes. Because it was my husband’s birthday, I needed our weekend to be amazing. This farm was very different from other dispersed campsites. The farm life was so fun to witness! Our eight year old even learned the game of Tetherball. We joked to her that we didn’t have iPads as kids...but we had tetherball. 🙄. The baby animals stole our hearts and we spent much of our Saturday evening just playing with them. It was a perfect way to relax after our family biked the Santos trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the camp host was very kind and welcoming. We plan to return in the fall. We hear they have small concerts and festivals on their grounds. You can check their events at Timberlinefarm.net Follow us for more campsite reviews on IG @hitchedroadtrip

Peaceful and Private
I loved staying at Timberline Farm. My two dogs got to run and the area was so private it was the most peaceful experience I've ever had while camping. The host, Franco was courteous, personable, and helpful while allowing me privacy. I highly recommend this hippcamp and I will come back next year.

Primitive camping on a private farm
Franco's farm is delightful. We found this place in a pinch when all campgrounds in Ocala were booked for Thanksgiving weekend. The site is private, we set up in the back and had a nice view of the property and the lake. We did not fish but were offered the opportunity to. Overnight you could overhear all kinds of wildlife.. dogs, coyotes, birds, and other critters. The farm had pigs and cows to look at and a really fun slide for the kids. Franco is as nice as can be and really knows the area. He pointed us to Rainbow Springs which was a great recommendation! This is a great campsite if you have kids, there is plenty of wide open spaces for running and paying. The slide area by the pigs kept my 4 and 5 year old occupied for hours. **THERE ARE NO BATHROOM FACILITIES OF ANY KIND**
