The Wandering Path, RV site
I normally off grid camp but also use the HipCamp app for times like this weekend. I was in town to visit family and I came across this place. From the moment I booked Amanda was quick to notify me about the reservations and what would be needed for my stay. I am self contained but to have the bathhouse in a central location was a nice accommodation, especially for those tent camping or Yurt rental. The beach on the river was really nice and large. The water was crystal clear and moving at a pretty good rate. The spots were well spaced with minimal noise heard. It was also nice to know that Amanda lived onsite but made a few passes and stopped by to introduce herself for a minute. I will definitely stay again if I’m in the area. Thank you Amanda for following a dream and giving people the opportunity to share that beautiful peace of land.

The Wandering Path #8 -hike-in site
We loved our stay at The Wandering Path. We stayed at site #8 on the water. Bring a wagon because there is a short hike on a trail through the woods to your site. The views are beautiful. We rented the kayaks for the day and Amanda was very helpful and friendly. The thing I was most impressed with was the bathrooms!! They were kept extremely clean and stocked with soap, toilet paper and paper towels!

The Wandering Path Yurt #3
Great tents and amenities. Area was very clean and plenty of dry cut wood laying around to get without having to cut anything down to burn. Sand banks has fire pits. 2-3 hr kayak ride if you rent them.(worth it) Our fan and power strip went out and was replaced very quickly with no issues. Very quiet and relaxing definitely will be going back.
