If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
The Bungalow on Black Creek is one of those places that feels a lot like love at first sight. When we pulled up to the property we both looked at each other and squealed with delight. It was super cute and had a beach cruiser and a stand-up paddle board out front. Um, yes… our kind of place. As soon as we got out of the car we took the bike for a spin, hardly able to contain our excitement. But curiosity about the rest of the place got the best of us and we headed on back to see what it was like!
Easily one of our favorite features of the property is the location and access to water. You can easily put in a kayak or go fishing or even crabbing. In addition to being right on the water, there’s also a huge fire pit out back, a swing, some lawn furniture and a great deck off the house for just hanging out. If you’re looking for a place to relax, this is the one.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better there is a second little bungalow out behind the main house called the T house which has a bed, table and chair in it. Guests are welcome to use this space as well if they need a little quiet time or want to be alone and off the main house.
Speaking of the main house it’s got all the amenities you could want: fridge, stove, toaster, sink, coffee maker, shower, tub, etc. The bed is a queen sized bed. We didn’t want to leave this place and are already exited to visit again.
If you are anywhere near this part of Florida and are either passing through or looking for a little getaway, consider the Bungalow on Black Creek.
We loved our stay at this sweet, simple little Bungalow. We slept in the queen bed and our 3 kids on couches and floor of living room- it had plenty of space for us. The property has a small deck overlooking the waterway we used for fishing and Robert delivered some tandum Kayaks so we could go out and explore the waterways (there is a single kayak and canoe available as well). The property is so peaceful and feels very private. We loved the peacocks wondering around the community and especially enjoyed the unique noises they make- such a treat! Robert checked in on us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed- he was very responsive and accommodating- a great host! The kids can't wait to come back and stay at this 'peacock house' again.
