While the farm is still taking shape, Isi and Tony have some beautiful sites on their home property in the Everglades. We were greeted with fresh Florida oj and a tour of the main house, featuring many roaming kitties! Isi was very kind and offered great local knowledge.

This is a backyard rescue farm so you must be okay with lots of animals- ducks, pheasants, quails, chickens, and many, many outdoor cats- to stay here. The campsite we chose was behind the main farmyard area so there were no animals there, but there was a fire pit and chairs. We were the only ones camping on the property.
Isi the host was welcoming and even included us in her pizza order for her and the farm helpers who are doing a work exchange where they receive room and board in return for working on the farm 5 days a week. The workers live in the guest house (where the bathroom and kitchen available to campers are also located). In the morning we cooked and ate some eggs from the different farm animals.
If you are planning to camp here you should arrive early, before dinnertime, to ensure the host has not gone to bed yet! The area is kind of remote and it took us longer to get here from the Everglades than we expected. Overall a good place to camp if you want to see lots of animals and interact with your hosts.
