Located on 5 acres in the Ocala National Forest, Hookie's Hideaway is the perfect place to stay for easy access to all of nature's bounty and activities. This property is easily accessible, serene and peaceful. Campsites are in a beautiful grove of pine and sycamore trees. We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season. We are close to hiking, horse trails, lakes and springs. Bocce Ball and Croquet is available to play here anytime! We are only a short distance away from amazing horse riding trails and Florida's most popular natural springs. We live on the property and are available during normal business hours. We are free to ask questions and give suggestions for surrounding activities and dining options. We will interact as little or as much as you need. Birds singing in the morning and crickets at night ensure a restful getaway here. Our property is the perfect place to escape the noise and high paced city life.

Blueberry Farm Country Cottage

We really enjoyed our time away at the Blueberry Cottage. The entire property is very interesting and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and allowed us to check out their vintage RVs which they also rent. There were chickens, many types of birds, bunnies and squirrels to keep us company. Having a fire and s’mores at night was perhaps the highlight of our stay - as well as making our own meal and enjoying the cozy, artfully decorated and furnished cottage. Thanks again!

Blueberry Farm Country Cottage

The farm was absolutely beautiful from the garden next to our cottage to the fire pit to the chicken coop and everything in between. My wife & I truly enjoyed our 4 day stay here. The out door shower was amazing after a day at the springs. We stayed in the blueberry cottage it was nothing short of perfect. Cassandra and Walt did an absolutely amazing job with all the little details inside and out. Much needed get away at the best place.

Hookie's Hideaway Forest Camp

Family friendly and peaceful place.

We loved this place. It's very family friendly. My son loved to visit the chickens, and we had some fresh eggs for breakfast. We enjoyed the privacy and peacefullnes that the camp offers. Host provided materials and tools to enjoy a nice dinner and s'mores.

Little Lulu

My son and I stayed here and we loved it! Thankful for the wonderful outdoor shower, comfortable bed, and all the small extras such as smores and coffee! We will absolutely come back and we appreciated Cassandra as a host. She made us feel welcome and safe!

Blueberry Farm Country Cottage

Hoosiers on holiday my

We arrived very late and there was a little difficulty finding entrance Google isn't perfect...(probably wouldn't have if not for the additional directions... Very helpful) cottage was lit up and ready for us. We spent the whole trip going on boondoggles during the day and coming back to finish our days in front of our private fire pit. Bed was comfortable, shower hot with plenty of pressure. Very homey. Felt like we were chilling in our backyard.

Little Lulu

Cute place! Quiet with nice bathroom/shower. Very sweet and kind folks. We had a mishap with the oven and they were accommodating, apologetic, and solution oriented.
